Technical Writing
$17-25 per hour (or fixed-price contract)

customer satisfaction. We are thoroughly experienced in planning, designing, creating, editing, and
producing high-quality computer-mediated instructional materials, technical and business documentation,
online content, user assistance and help files, and multimedia tutorials. We are able to work effectively
on high-pressure projects with challenging deadlines.
We will plan, design, and develop documentation that leverages
the best practices of information architecture, DITA, and learning theory to convert complex technology,
concepts, and documentation into understandable terms.
We will write and edit whitepapers, proposals, executive summaries,
and business communication using the graduate-level English grammar, syntax, style, sentence construction,
and vocabulary appropriate to senior management.
We will review and edit existing technical documents, online content, contracts, and
proposals for language, flow, organization, and presentation.
Instructional Design and Training Consultation
$17-25 per hour (or fixed-price contract)
We will analyze, design, program, and implement instructional materials for
almost any purpose, from employee assimilation to technical topics, using the best
practices of industrial training and development in combination with the latest
interactive knowledge transfer technologies.
It is a simple fact of life that most modern corporate training fails to
achieve its objectives. The primary causes of failure are inadequate analysis and
design before implementation, inadequate use of metrics to determine what (if any)
effect the training has had, and over-reliance on the "talking heads" model of
instructor-led lectures as a training strategy.
Our approach will determine, first and foremost, whether the instruction is
necessary and useful, second, how to develop a precise set of metrics that
will enable both management and trainees to define what, how, and when progress
is being made, and, finally, how best to achieve the desired transfer of knowledge
or change of attitude.
Metric design is an integral part of every training solution we develop. We
design, administer, and monitor pre-training, in-training, and post-training
metrics that quantify the effect and effectiveness of every aspect of the training,
provide management with status and progress reports, and enable key
decision-makers to accurately assess both the value and performance of each
training solution.
Training and Development Media Programming and Production
$17-25 per hour (or fixed-price contract)
We will program and produce training and development materials that vary from
instructor-led presentations to fully-automated, interactive, multimedia training
modules that employees can use on their home computers, during group training
sessions, or in specific training sessions scheduled before, during, or after
their normal work periods.
We produce training and development materials using a variety of technologies,
including MS Silverlight, Adobe Flex, Adobe Flash, RoboHELP, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat,
Visual Basic, Visual C#, ASP .NET, HTML, XHTML, and XML.
